Introducing CLAE's Appleskin™ Sneaker Capsule
The collection features a bio-based material made from repurposed apple waste from the juice industry.
Following the release of our first-ever sneaker Made in LA and an eco-friendly unisex capsule collection with premium performance apparel brand Vuori, we continue our focus on sustainability and minimalist design with a new unisex collection made from Appleskin™ just in time for the fall harvest.
Available on our most popular Bradley and Malone court shoes and Joshua runner, each style is crafted with a sustainable upper from apple waste repurposed from the juice industry in Italy. The shoes also include eco-friendly elements of GRS-certified recycled mesh, laces, foam insoles, and GOTS-certified organic cotton lining. Appleskin™ preserves the essential characteristics of traditional leather with reduced environmental impact.
The capsule's unique off-white colorway and texture are inspired by the flesh of an apple, with a contrasting triple black colorway inspired by the rare black apple.
Our tried and true Ellington is an additional style available in triple black.
